Stainless Steel Primary Molar Crown – Pediatric Preformed Dental Crown

A preformed stainless steel crown designed for the restoration of primary molar teeth in pediatric dental patients. Stainless steel primary molar crowns provide full coronal coverage for primary teeth with extensive carious destruction, following pulp therapy, or where conventional restorative techniques are not indicated due to insufficient remaining tooth structure. The preformed crown is adapted and crimped chairside to conform to the individual tooth anatomy prior to cementation.

Clinical Workflow

• Prepare the primary molar tooth with appropriate occlusal reduction and proximal clearance as required by technique
• Select the appropriate crown size by measuring the mesiodistal width of the tooth
• Try the crown for fit, adapt margins by crimping, and verify occlusal clearance
• Cement the crown with the selected luting agent and remove excess cement
• Verify occlusion and margin adaptation at completion
