A Pakistan pattern Cryer elevator available in right and left configurations, used in oral surgery and routine dental extraction procedures for the elevation and removal of retained mandibular molar roots and root fragments. The triangular angled blade of the Cryer elevator is designed to engage the interradicular bone or adjacent socket following tooth sectioning, applying controlled rotational force to elevate individual roots from their sockets.

Clinical Workflow

Section the mandibular molar tooth to separate mesial and distal roots
Select right or left Cryer elevator corresponding to the root to be elevated
Insert the triangular blade tip into the interradicular socket or against adjacent bone
Apply controlled rotational force to lever the root coronally out of the socket
Follow with forceps or root tip pick for complete root removal as required
Sterilize instrument by autoclave after each surgical use
