Dental Teflon Tape is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) barrier tape used in dental clinical and laboratory procedures requiring surface isolation, thread seal, and component protection. The non-adhesive, chemically inert PTFE material provides reliable isolation of dental implant components, abutment screws, and restorative margins during cementation, composite placement, and laboratory fabrication workflows.

Clinical Workflow

Cut required length of PTFE tape from roll for intended clinical application
Adapt and pack tape into screw access channel, margin area, or isolation zone
Complete restorative or cementation procedure over isolated area
Remove PTFE tape cleanly following material placement and setting
Verify complete tape removal prior to final occlusal and margin assessment
