Ultradent Porcelain Etch is a 9% hydrofluoric acid etching gel designed for the surface treatment of indicated silica-based dental ceramics before adhesive bonding. Supplied in a 1.2 ml syringe, it creates a micro-retentive ceramic surface that can subsequently be treated with an appropriate silane coupling agent as part of the ceramic bonding protocol.
