Meta Biomed Metapaste Plus is a premixed, water-based calcium hydroxide paste designed as a temporary root canal filling material and intracanal medicament. Its water-soluble formulation contains calcium hydroxide with barium sulfate for radiopacity, allowing the material to be identified radiographically and removed after treatment. Meta Biomed specifies applications including weeping canals, temporary root canal filling, apexification, and formation of a hard tissue barrier.
